Browser Extension
Connect the Certyn browser extension and use it from issue trackers and other supported tools.
The Certyn browser extension brings testing and AI-assisted QA workflows into the tools where your team already works.
What it supports
The current extension connect flow advertises support for:
- Linear
- Jira
- GitHub
- Sentry
- GitLab
- Notion
- Slack
- Figma
What you can do
- ask Certyn questions in context
- run tests from issues and PRs
- verify fixes without leaving the tracker page
- open Certyn with the page context already attached
Connect flow
- Open the extension connect page in Certyn at
/app/extension. - Click Allow Connection.
- Certyn creates a dedicated API key for the browser extension.
- The page passes the connection payload back to the extension.
- You can close the tab and start using the extension on supported sites.
Security model
- The extension uses an API key minted specifically for the connection flow.
- Treat that key like any other credential.
- If needed, revoke it from the API keys area and reconnect.
Keyboard shortcut
The product connect page tells users to open Ask Certyn with:
Cmd+Shift+Con macOS
Some older blog copy may still mention platform-specific variations. Prefer the in-product setup flow for the current shortcut guidance.
