Certyn uses cookies, browser storage, and similar technologies for authentication, product behavior, analytics, and reliability. Some of these technologies are essential to operate the service, and some are optional analytics technologies that depend on your consent settings.

• Auth0-backed sign-in and session management for login, token refresh, and account access.
• Secure session state needed to keep you signed in and route authenticated requests.
• Product UI preferences, such as certain navigation or interface state settings.

These technologies are necessary to use authenticated parts of Certyn and are not offered on an opt-out basis where they are required for service operation.

Certyn uses PostHog for website and product analytics. Our current implementation behaves as follows:

• Before you accept analytics cookies, the marketing site stores your consent choice locally and configures PostHog to use in-memory persistence only.
• If you accept analytics cookies, PostHog may use cookie and local-storage persistence for analytics events.
• If you decline, PostHog remains in memory mode for that browsing context instead of switching to persistent analytics storage.

You can manage cookies and local storage through your browser controls and, where available, through the Certyn cookie consent banner. Blocking essential authentication cookies may prevent login or product access.
